Albuquerque Rose Garden http://www.albuquerquerose.com/garden.html The Albuquerque Rose Garden, completed in 1995, was the result of a four year collaboration among the City of Albuquerque, the Library director and branch manager, landscape architect William Perkins and the Albuquerque Rose Society. The garden is located on the grounds of the Wyoming Regional Library in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At a cost of more than $400,000, provided by the City and by hundreds of donations of cash and roses from individuals and nurseries from all over the United States, the renovation was completed three years before an American Rose Society National Convention in Albuquerque and was highlighted at that Convention. It was gratifying to have the director of AARS Public Rose Gardens attend and leave his card with a note on the back that said “This is one of the most impressive public rose gardens I have ever seen
The Antique Roses of Ben Lomond Manor House http://nps-vip.net/history/BenLomond/roses/ Welcome to The Ben Lomond Manor House Historic Rose Garden. This is a garden of historic roses rather than an historic garden. All the roses here are from the past. The date listed next to each rose's name is the time of the development of this hybrid. There are only 3 roses in our garden from as recent as the early 20th century, 1924 being the most recent. Most of our roses date from the 19th century or earlier. There are currently 3 ways to view the roses. An alphabetized text listing of names, an alphabetized listing with a thumbnail of each rose, and an array of thumbnails. The graphic pages are fairly large and may take a while to load over slow internet connections. You may click on any thumbnail to view a larger image and details on the specific rose. Likewise on the text only pages clicking on the name of the rose will produce the same detail window. These require a JavaScript enabled web browser.
Brooklyn Botanic Garden: Roses http://www.bbg.org/exp/roses/ There is nothing more sensuous than a mass of fragrant, colorful rosebushes in bloom. In the Cranford Rose Garden in early summer, tens of thousands of roses cascade down arches, climb up lattices, clamber over the pavilion, and pose in formal beds. Here, over 5,000 bushes of nearly 1,200 varieties thrive, including All-America Rose Selections (AARS), wild species, old garden roses, hybrid teas, grandifloras, floribundas, polyanthas, hybrid perpetuals, climbers, ramblers, and miniatures.

THE JAPANESE GARDEN http://www.thebonsainursery.com/ As the nursery became established we turned our attention towards the creation of the Japanese Garden. In 1991 test ponds were dug confirming, as suspected, a solid layer of clay below a topsoil one metre deep over the washed gravel of the water table. Soon after we acquired 20 tons of weathered, moss-covered granite boulders and with this the development of the garden took a quantum leap
Great Comp Garden http://www.greatcomp.co.uk/ A garden of 7 acres, comprising many beautiful and rare shrubs, perennials and other hardy and half hardy plants. It is a plantsman's haven, with the year starting off with Helleborus, followed by Magnolias, Rhododendrons and Azaleas; then through the remainder of the year with rare and exotic shrubs and perennial plants - such as the huge collection of Salvias. There are substantial areas of both formal and informal plantings - teasingly linked with meandering grass paths and home built ruins - homing in on an Italian Garden!
